Objective :

The purpos e of this class is to us e the PRIS M software to observe plant respo nse to transients and acciden t s. A prio r training ex ercise is to be conducted to be by the teaching assistan t so that the class tim e could be spent running certain transien ts. The PRISM sof t ware is ta ilo red to pre ss u rized water reac tors only. Given w h at th e s t ud ents have learned about nuclear plants, have the st udents predict what m i ght be expected in each of the transien ts ru n.
